Cineplex took a huge leap with their newest Eats & Entertainment space, The Rec Room. Designed and built for launch, The Rec Room's website was created to communicate all of the offerings "The Box" had from Food to Live Music, to Axe Throwing.
Users could discover everything The Rec Room had to offer as well as book reservations, purchase concert tickets, and buy and send a friend a gift card for them to use.
The companion app was designed with social in mind. Users would use the app to connect RFID bracelets to and fully immerse them into The Rec Room experience. They could pay for arcade games, be reminded of upcoming reservations, as well as participate in The Rec Room gamification experience, unlocking rewards based on their activity.
