Product Design

The current phase of development is the "Beta" build.  With the backend development complete and preliminary front end web-app flows created for the "plumbing", the team's focus moves towards implementing a new visual ui, iteration on Alpha's current flows, and the implementation of a dual-track development process that helps create the product's financial coaching features.

Alpha

The end of Alpha brought on some very drastic changes within the company, the team makeup, and the overall process that the team had followed throughout the 8 months, building POC and Alpha.  The biggest of these changes was the removal of a UX designer entirely and the implementation of a dual-track process.  I was placed on an innovation stream, tasked with designing and proving user value through testing. 

So far, the implementation of multi-goal functionality for users and an financial health onboarding survey were prototyped and user tested to prove that what we build is something a user would truly value.

The Process

So far, Beta has been a work-in-progress.  As mentioned, there have been some drastic changes to the team makeup and as such, the process has changed completely.  More trust has been placed in myself as a designer to facilitate design sessions with a cross-functional team and iterate immediately on not only our product but our process with ongoing sprints.
